Kensington Boulevard Historic District Walking Tour to be held on October 12, 2024
The Allen County Genealogical Society of Indiana in conjunction with the Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center will be holding a free walking tour on October 12, 2024, from 10:30AM-12PM. The tour will be led by Elizabeth Hodges of the Genealogy Center, accompanied by our past president, Michael Vorndran.
The group will meet at Michael’s home, 2222 Kensington Blvd, at 10:30 of the morning of the event. Michael has one of the larger yards on Kensington, and it is a short walk from Saint Jude Church, which has graciously allowed attendees to park in their lot. Please park in the southeast corner of the lot near the fenced-in playground area, facing east on Randallia towards Parkview Hospital. This will help avoid interfering with parishoners who will be attending Mass that morning, and a wedding that afternoon.

Admission is free to all interested parties. Please check the weather before attending and dress appropriately, as the tour will continue, rain or shine.
